Open quickly in an emergency

Building owners and operators are responsible for providing firefighters with fast, non-violent access to the building and grounds in an emergency. Regardless of locking plans, individual access rights or times when the building is unoccupied. The TECTIQ Emergency Transponder can be stored as a fire service key in the fire alarm control panel (FACP), fire service key depot (FSD) or fire service key box (FSK). It serves as a master key and fulfils the requirements for a depot in accordance with FSD type 3. The door is set to "permanently open" after the first access.



Important warning

When used as a master key, strict care must be taken to keep the emergency transponder safe and make it accessible exclusively to the fire brigade. The handover to the fire brigade and their access to the FSD/FSK must be organised as an operational procedure.



The emergency transponder is available as a handy key fob. The passive RFID transponder (MIFARE® DESFire®) does not require a battery.
