Escutcheon plates provide a good sheathing for the door cylinder of your entrance door.
They can be installed wherever a protective fitting cannot be mounted. In some entrance doors, there is no space to install a protective fitting due to the structural conditions. And sometimes you want to avoid a visual break. In these cases, protective rosettes are an alternative to the security escutcheon.
Protective rosettes are like a socket for door cylinders, a so-called "pulling protection". They embed the cylinder and thus protect against various break-in methods. Because if a door cylinder stands out clearly, it is almost an invitation for burglars: This makes it comparatively easy to break open the door cylinder.
