With the TSS550 door bar lock, ABUS sets new standards in door security – and offers the perfect solution for old building and very high doors.
Old building doors in particular pose a great risk in terms of security – also because additional door deadlocks cannot be installed or can only be installed with difficulty due to decorative mouldings, cassettes or ornamentation. The TSS550 door bar lock was specially developed for old building doors and particularly high doors. With just one movement, you can close the door deadlock over the entire height.
Safety with only one handle
Locking takes place at the top and bottom at the same time, so you can secure your door on the entire opening side with just one door deadlock. Even in the standard version, the TSS550 door bar lock is suitable for door heights of up to 2.75 m and door thicknesses of 33 to 104 mm. The German-made door bar lock in combination with a VdS class A cylinder has also easily received the approval of the Insurance Industry Testing Institute (VdS).
The product is available in white or silver. It can easily be retrofitted to DIN-right or DIN-left doors.
