Security in educational and training institutions

Public and private educational institutions such as universities, colleges, schools, boarding schools, kindergartens, youth centres and childcare facilities must implement safety standards enshrined in the law for building protection, fulfil their supervisory duties and ensure the safety of teachers and learners. Secure sensitive areas

Vandalism in the outside or entrance area, theft in the bike cellar, computer room or cloakroom - ABUS has made it its business to effectively protect sensitive areas from unauthorised access or potential perpetrators or just dumb pranks. We do this with technology that is suitable for every area of application and effectively ensures greater security.
Entrance area

A solid mechanical locking system protects against break-in attempts on the doors. Can be flexibly extended with electronic access control, individual access rights that can be assigned to clearly regulate who gets access to the building and when. Weatherproof video surveillance with tamper protection that starts recording when movements are detected in the entrance area deters potential perpetrators and allows individuals to be clearly identified.
Burglary protection indoors

Seamless perimeter protection on windows and doors helps keep out burglars - both mechanical and electronic security devices as well as a combination of both provide secure protection against unauthorised entry. Ask your local security expert.
Outdoor use

Especially in winter, when it gets dark early, video security in the outdoor area increases the sense of security for everyone involved. A monitored playing field, bike parking spot or car park helps people to feel less alone and discourages vandalism.
