With other cameras, you can switch them off via a cell phone app to protect your own privacy - but do they actually stop recording?

The ABUS Wi-Fi Privacy indoor camera does it right. To protect your privacy, you can cover 100% of the camera's field of view with the integrated all-off flap - this switches off the microphone and the Wi-Fi connection fully automatically. Furthermore, the camera is password-protected and works with modern encryption standards. In this way, private matters remain safely private - unique on the market in this form.

If the flap is open, all of your camera’s senses are active and it monitors the entire room. With the included microSD memory card, the camera is ready to record immediately, and the App2Cam Plus mobile app even shows what happened 3 seconds before motion was detected - in seconds, you'll get a push notification to check the live stream and respond as needed.

The camera provides brilliant image quality day and night, standing on a shelf or permanently mounted on the wall with the carrier. It is compatible with the Smartvest wireless alarm system. And after a super simple start-up with the help of the app wizard, ready for use immediately.
