The TECTIQ padlock secures doors, gates and places where no door cylinder or fitting fits – and integrates them into the TECTIQ access control system. It grants people access on the locking medium (transponder, card) according to their permission level. Data exchange is encrypted and protected against readout (MIFARE® DESFire®). The electronic padlock is battery-operated and requires no external wiring or wireless connection.



Flexible use indoors and outdoors

The robust padlock with a lock body made of TITALIUM™ special aluminium is ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The hardened steel shackle with NANO PROTECT™ coating ensures a very high level of corrosion protection. The electronic cylinder also has a weather-resistant stainless steel knob (protection class IP67). The padlock secures a wide range of access points and locations such as doors, gates, machines, server and switch cabinets, medicine and filing cabinets, lockers, parcel, mesh and transport boxes, containers, etc.



Validation & access

ABUS TECTIQ saves permissions and events on the RFID locking medium (Data-on-Card). The optical illuminated ring signals to users whether they are authorised to access the system.
