EM2000B
The seismic alarm sensor reacts to seismic signals and vibrations. Vibrations such as those caused by attempts to break in are detected and reported to the alarm panel. The sensor registers the vibration of the surface on which it is mounted. The best place to install the seismic alarm sensor is on objects that are not to be moved (a safe, or other valuable objects) or penetrated (wooden doors, glass walls, plaster walls). The detection diameter is up to 4 meters, depending on the material. Large wooden walls or window frontages can be protected with a single sensor. The patented frequency analysis detects the difference between knocks and penetrations. This protects the sensor from false alarms. On the seismic alarm sensor, you can choose between two sensitivity levels by means of a jumper. You can make fine adjustments to this setting with a sensitivity potentiometer. An LED alarm memory is integrated in the seismic alarm sensor. When the sensor triggers, the LED lights up. The alarm memory is not reset until the voltage supply is removed (1 second). The operating voltage is between 9 and 16 V DC. The seismic alarm sensor is available in white (EM2000W) and brown (EM2000B).
