The European Union sets quotas to collect and recycle waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Since 29.10.2020, producers of electrical and electronic equipment are obliged to inform annually about the achievement of the quantitative targets on the separate collection of waste equipment (§ 10 Abs 3 ElektroG) and the recovery of waste equipment (§ 22 Abs 1 ElektroG).
