A luggage lock secures your suitcase, travel bag and other bags against unauthorised opening!
For some, travel means: Summer, sun, and holidays – at last, some free time to relax and unwind. Others, in turn, often travel on business and fly around the globe to do so. Still others, however, go on study trips or excursions and travel by train.
That said: We recommend everyone uses a padlock to secure their suitcase or travel rucksack against quick opening! This should stop anyone from accessing your expensive watch, your valuable evening dress, your precious leather belt or other packed items you hold close to your heartin a matter of seconds.
For travellers to the USA, we recommend our TSA locks:
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) opens suitcases and other luggage, among other things, if something cannot be precisely defined during screening at the airport security check. For TSA locks, the employees have generic keys which fit these locks, so your luggage lock will not be damaged. The case can then always be locked again in the usual fashion. Conventional padlocks are broken open by customs officials. This is allowed – only you will then no longer have a lock to protect your suitcase from opportunistic thieves.
