In 1924, August Bremicker and his sons ventured into independence in the small village of Volmarstein an der Ruhr and began producing the first padlocks. Today, the former business in the cellar of the family home has developed into a group of companies operating worldwide.

PRO SHIELD™ 5850 BASIC PROTECTION FOR BICYCLES

The ABUS quality of the Frame Lock PRO SHIELD™ 5850 is certified by test seals from four different countries

The Frame Lock PRO SHIELD™ 5850 offers good protection against medium risk of theft. Norway, Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands have approved the secure ABUS quality of the bicycle lock with their special test seal. We recommend this frame lock is used to secure high-quality bicycles at medium risk of theft.

8.5 mm thick locking shackle
The shackle, the case as well as supporting elements of the locking mechanism are made of special hardened steel
Accessories can easily be fitted to the locking mechanism on the lock housing
In the R version, the key remains in the cylinder when the lock is opened; in the NR version, it can be pulled out

Mounting and transportation

LH - The LH adapter fixing strap can be used as an alternative mounting option if there are no holes in the rear section.
